Sierra Hull Bluegrass Festival October 12 :: Byrdstown, TN

Byrdstown, Tn -- The 11th Annual Sierra Hull Bluegrass Festival will take place on Saturday, October 12 in Sierra's hometown of Byrdstown, Tennessee. The festival begins at 9:00 AM with the 2nd Annual 5K Walk/Run with proceeds going to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The festival gates open at noon, starting with a Cruise-In to raise funds for the "Homes for Our Troops" organization. A highlight of this year's event will be a stunt exhibition by stunt motorcyclist Jesse Toler, who  currently holds two official Guinness Book of World Records for the  longest stoppie (1320.3 feet) and the fastest stoppie (150 mph).  A stoppie is a motorcycle stunt where the back wheel is lifted and the bike is ridden on the front wheel. A film of Jesse's stunt riding can be seen here. Music begins at 1:30pm and includes Cody Hull & Verticle Limit; Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers (2012 IBMA Emerging Artist of the Year); and Sierra Hull.
